Job PurposeThis role is responsible for driving product development and lifecycle management of Mobile Dispensing Units (MDUs) and their filling facilities within the Mobile Fuelling (E-Commerce) business. The position ensures that every MDU operates safely, complies with all statutory and RBML requirements, and delivers assured quality and quantity to customers.The role involves hands-on product engineering, process standardization, and cross-functional execution across design, fabrication, inspection, and deployment. It also encompasses technology integration (automation, VTS/VB, digital locks) and process excellence through SOPs, compliance monitoring, and vendor management. The candidate must exhibit strong technical acumen, analytical capability, and an ability to translate business needs into implementable product improvements.AccountabilitiesKey Accountabilities<ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Design and finalize technical specifications of MDUs (RBML-owned and 3rd party) in collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Regulatory, and vendors.</li><li>Manage ordering, fabrication, and automation integration (VTS/VB, Abloy Locks, branding, painting, etc.) ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and timelines.</li><li>Shall be responsible for ensuring timely inspection by statutory bodies, delivery & commissioning of MDUs at site in coordination with different vendors, sales team, FF project team etc.. </li><li>Own Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) of MDUs, driving continuous improvement in safety, digitalization, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.</li><li>Drive statutory compliance for RBML and 3rd-party MDUs (PESO, W&M, RTO, and others) ensuring readiness for inspection and documentation audits.</li><li>Shall be responsible to design and draft specifications for fabrication of filling facilities. It includes finalization of specifications of filling facility and preparing the standard specifications with inputs from Engineering, Regulatory, Procurement, MDU suppliers and other stakeholders.</li><li>Shall be responsible for providing Engineering solutions and value engineering of existing solutions for E-Commerce business.
