Job Responsibilitieso System Design:Work closely with architects and other stakeholders to anchor the engineering design for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that meet the specific needs and requirements of a fuel retail outlet and way side amenities. The engineer has to analyze the Plaza/WSA design and purpose to determine the most appropriate layout design. Work as a project engineering manager and coordinate with internal stake holders to anchor user design basis and closely work with the external consultant to drive engineering design.o Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting complex engineering work within department.o To organize, plan, budget and schedule activities within department.o To develop & guide for all standard deliverables within department.o Understands technical issues and costs related to selection of typical design features within dept.o Understands work process of other department on project.o Technical issues resolution, with other departments on projects including constructability requirements/considerations and reviews.o Plan required manpower and infrastructure facilities for group & review requirement periodicallyo Access training needs of subordinated to upgrade their engineering skillo Review performance of subordinates & identify their strengths and weaknesses and suggest measures of improvemento Review and approve key engineering drawings and calculations.o Supervise all department activities on projects of large size and medium complexity.o Expedite inputs from others in order to meet schedule dates.o Compliance to project specific HSE practices and maintain HSE in design.o Keep superiors regularly informed of technical activities and scheduleso Should review the calculations performed for Civil, electrical, plumbing and do interdisciplinary coordination.o Should select the appropriate mechanical and electrical equipment, packages.o Ensure that all the systems designed and installed shall comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.o Should work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure that their systems integrate seamlessly with the overall building design and structure.o Should support cost estimation team for the tender sites for the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, helping project managers to budget appropriately.o Should strive to design systems that are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, reducing the building’s environmental impact.Skills & CompetenciesCompetency Managing Stakeholders Effective Conversation Team Management Decision Making Project TimelineEducation Required (· Graduate Engineering in Civil/ Electrical/Mechanical Discipline from reputed institute.· Project Engineering Management ExperienceExperience Required· Minimum 10 years in a reputed Engineering Consultancy· Desirable: Experience in Engineering projects related to Fuel Retail and Way Side amenities design and handled at least 2 projects involving a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers
