Lead and deliver end-to-end MEP design engineering for infrastructure, commercial, industrial, aviation, or large-scale building projects, ensuring code compliance, design optimization, constructability, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities1. Design & Engineering· Prepare and review MEP design calculations, layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings for:o HVAC systemso Electrical (HT/LT, lighting, earthing, lightning protection)o Plumbing & drainageo Fire fighting & fire alarm systems· Ensure designs comply with applicable national & international codes and standards (NBC, IS, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, etc.).· Carry out load calculations, equipment sizing, system selection, and energy-efficient design optimization.· Develop design basis reports, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.2. Coordination & Interface Management· Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Civil, and Process teams for clash-free design.· Participate in design review meetings with clients, PMC, and consultants.· Resolve design conflicts and support constructability improvements.· Support BIM coordination (Navisworks/Revit) where applicable.3. Technical Leadership· Guide and review work of junior engineers and designers.· Provide technical inputs during value engineering and cost optimization exercises.· Support engineering manager in design planning and deliverable tracking.4. Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills· Strong hands-on experience in MEP system design.· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and basic BIM tools.· Sound knowledge of codes, standards, and authority approval requirements.· Experience in large infrastructure / aviation / commercial / industrial projects preferred.Behavioral & Managerial Skills· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.· Good communication and stakeholder management skills.· Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.· Mentoring and team-guidance capability.5.
