At Akamai, we are proud to create opportunities, enabling talent from all backgrounds to pursue a career in tech. We are committed to this both internally and in the community through our social outreach programs such as Girls Who Code and our Akamai Technical Academy (ATA). Our ATA program is a 12-month classroom and on-the-job training program which prepares participants for an entry-level role at Akamai. Not only are our people a constant source of knowledge and expertise, we strive to foster workplaces that are inclusive and representative where all employees are wholly welcome. Our Chief Marketing Officer, Monique Bonner, recently launched our first Women Executives Network. Women are in leadership roles in all areas of the company and female tech talent is very important to us. That's why we also launched our Women in Tech Blog Series that focuses on topics related to women in the tech industry. We've also been named a "Best Employer for Diversity" by Forbes and Ankkit Srivastav, India Chair for Diversity & Inclusion, was recognized as a “Diversity Champion” at the "DivHersity Awards 2019" hosted by Jobsforher.
