Major Purpose of Job:

1. To develop cost effective and robust process of API
2. To manager lab activity as per current GLP guidelines

Principal tasks & responsibilities:

1. To develop chemical process which is having least hazardous chemicals and cost effective process of API in lab and technology to be transferred at plant scale.
2. To check the proof of concept of selected synthetic route
3. To plan the experiments, execution of experiments and record in Lab note book.
4. Prepare standard samples for KSM, intermediates, impurities and finished products.
5. To do characterization and identification of finished product, impurities and intermediates
6. To transfer the technology from lab to plant
7. Sample preparation for stability studies , analytical method validation, marketing requirement
8. Understand current process and identify areas of improvement
9. Cost reduction exercise of existing molecule
10. Demonstration of lab and plant validation
11. Write-up day to day experiments on laboratory note book
12. Preparation of analytical data summary and daily experiment summary
13. To coordinate with cross functional for ongoing projects
