Strategic SCM Leadership

Develop and execute SCM strategy for ISBU & USBU aligned with overall business goals.

Drive supply chain digitization and automation initiatives for operational efficiency.

Collaborate with leadership for demand forecasting, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), and resource planning.

Procurement & Vendor Management

Lead sourcing strategies for APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and critical utilities.

Build strong vendor networks to ensure consistent quality and competitive pricing.

Negotiate long-term contracts and manage supplier performance (QCD – Quality, Cost, Delivery).

Production Planning & Inventory

Align production planning with forecast and market demand.

Optimize inventory levels to reduce working capital while avoiding stock-outs.

Coordinate with manufacturing, QA/QC, and regulatory teams for smooth operations.

Logistics & Distribution

Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution across domestic and export markets.

Ensure cold chain management (if applicable) and compliance with GDP norms.

Liaise with C&F agents, customs authorities, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all supply chain practices comply with cGMP, GDP, GSP, and other applicable pharma regulations.

Support audits (USFDA, WHO, EUGMP, etc.) by ensuring traceable and compliant SCM records.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance SCM team.

Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA/QC, Regulatory, and Sales & Marketing teams.
