Objective: 
	
Catalysis Lead: To lead the Catalysis Lab and establish catalytic capabilities supporting API process development.
Key Responsibilities:
•	Develop strategy for catalyst-based process improvements in R&D.
•	Design and guide experiments for catalytic screening and optimization.
•	Collaborate with process chemists for catalytic route design.
•	Evaluate techno-economic benefits of catalytic routes.
•	Mentor and supervise catalysis team
•	Screening and application of chiral catalysts for asymmetric synthesis.
•	Development of enzyme-based bio-catalytic routes for greener transformations.
•	Design and evaluation of heterogeneous/homogeneous catalysts 
•	Catalyst recovery, reuse, and scale-up feasibility for manufacturing.
•	Integration of catalytic steps into existing and new API synthesis routes.
•	Implementation of process intensification through continuous flow or PFR-based catalytic systems.
•	Catalyst characterization using advanced analytical tools (GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-OES, FTIR, XRD, TGA, and BET).
•	Documentation of catalyst lifecycle management and cost–benefit database for future process selection.
Flow Chemistry Lead: To lead a team of scientists and engineers to develop, optimize and scale up continuous-flow chemical processes. Responsible for strategic planning, technical leadership, project execution, resource management, and ensuring successful technology transfer to pilot and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
•	Define the scientific direction and roadmap for the flow chemistry group.
•	Identify opportunities for process intensification, new technologies, and automation.
•	Ensure adoption of best practices in flow chemistry, safety, and data integrity.
•	Lead development of flow-based synthetic routes from lab to pilot and commercial scale.
•	Collaborate with chemical engineers, manufacturing, and safety teams for seamless scale-up.
•	Evaluate new reactor technologies (micro reactors, packed-bed, photochemical, electrochemical, etc.)
•	Work closely with discovery chemistry, analytical, engineering, quality, and production teams.
•	Communicate technical progress in meetings with stakeholders and leadership.
•	Contribute to technology transfer documentation and regulatory support when needed.

Solid State Chemistry Lead: To lead a multidisciplinary team focused on the design, characterization, and development of solid forms of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediates and advanced materials
Key Responsibilities:
•	Define the strategic direction for solid-state chemistry and material development initiatives.
•	Lead solid-form selection programs including polymorph, solvate, hydrate, salt, and co-crystal screening.
•	Guide crystallization process development to ensure robust, scalable, and reproducible solid forms.
•	Evaluate the impact of solid-state properties (particle size, morphology, flowability) on downstream processing.
•	Direct the development and interpretation of analytical methods including PXRD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Raman/IR, SS-NMR, microscopy, and particle-sizing techniques.
•	Oversee structure elucidation through single-crystal XRD and support computational modeling where applicable.
•	Manage and mentor a team of solid-state chemists, crystallization scientists and analytical specialists.
•	Provide technical guidance, support problem-solving and promote scientific excellence.
•	Oversee multiple development programs from early-phase R&D to late-stage optimization.
•	Provide expertise on crystallization scale-up and support transfer to pilot-scale or manufacturing teams.
•	Troubleshoot material property issues impacting filtration, drying, Micronization or formulation.
•	Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data, reports, and technical recommendations.
•	Collaborate closely with process chemistry, formulation, analytical, and engineering teams.

Qualification & Experience:  Ph.D. in Organic / Inorganic / Medicinal Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field. 8–15+ years of experience.
