A DevOps engineer is required with at least 7 years of experience managing on-premises and cloud-based application releases using Azure DevOps, as well as scripting and handling both manual and automated deployments.Following skillset are required. Education qualification: BE - Computer Science graduatesRelevant experience: 7 years as a DevOps Engineer with hands on experience in managing complete DevOps landscape including Kubernetes and project managementTechnical skills 1. Scripting and automation: Proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, Ruby, ant, PowerShell to automate tasks and build deployment pipelines.2. Version control: Expertise in tools such as Git to manage code changes and facilitate collaboration.3. CI/CD: Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI to automate the build, test, and deployment process.4. Cloud platforms: Experience with cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deploying and managing applications at scale.5. Containerization and orchestration: Skills with Docker for containerizing applications and Kubernetes for orchestrating them.6. Configuration management: Using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate server configurations and ensure consistency across environments.7. Monitoring and logging: Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack to monitor system performance and analyze logs.8. System administration: A strong foundation in operating systems (especially Linux), including server, network, and security management.Soft skills 1.
