The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a passion for solving complex problems  and a commitment to make significant contributions to our product offerings. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Software Design & Development:  Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions using Java, following best practices for microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.</li><li>Enterprise Product Development: Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle of enterprise products, from conceptualization and design to deployment and operational support.</li><li>Containerization & Deployment: Design and implement solutions leveraging containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift for application deployment and management.</li><li>Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to established coding standards.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other development teams to define requirements, clarify functionality, and deliver integrated solutions.</li><li>Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues across various layers of the application stack.</li></ul> Required Skills & Experience: <ul><li>Experience: 6 to 9 years of progressive software industry experience, with a proven track record in enterprise product development from reputable product organizations.</li><li>Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline from a premier institute.</li><li>Core Java: Strong, hands-on expertise in Core Java development.</li><li>Microservices & REST APIs: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.</li><li>Containerization: Proficient with Docker and hands-on experience working with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift.</li><li>Design Thinking: Demonstrated ability to apply design thinking principles to problem-solving and software development processes.</li><li>Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Experience or a strong understanding of the workload automation or observability domain.</li><li>Database: Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.</li><li>Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) for effective collaboration within a cross-functional team.</li></ul> Nice to Have / Preferred Skills: <ul><li>Frontend Development: Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js.</li><li>Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation, tooling or data processing.</li><li>DevOps Acumen: Familiarity and experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins),Source control management (Git, GitHub) and branching strategies, containerized deployment </li><li>Cloud Platforms: Experience with public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).</li><li>Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and well versed with SAFe principles.</li></ul> Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.
