<html><body> Role Description The Public Cloud Infrastructure Lead Developer will be instrumental in implementing the architecture and the engineering processes and best practices to enable the foundational infrastructure (Accounts, network, compute, storage, observability) required for application hosting in public cloud. This role is responsible for development of microservices, automate infrastructure provisioning and orchestration in public cloud. The ideal candidate has experience in professional software development, designing and creating highly available cloud systems, and can implement cloud strategy. Advanced industry knowledge is key, as well as knowledge in building an engineering organization. The role requires a talented technologist with experience engaging with application developers throughout the full development life-cycle – from inception and design to deployment, operation, and iterative development. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Automate foundational infrastructure for public cloud (Accounts, Network, Compute)</li><li>Deliver the tooling and capabilities needed to enable our cloud first strategy</li><li>Provide developer-friendly cloud onboarding, account creation and management for supported cloud providers</li><li>Ensure compliance to regulations and policy by implementing accurate requirements traceability</li><li>Develop, cascade, and enforce development and engineering best practices using modern SDLC that enables CI/CD and favors automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure, and policy as code</li><li>Develop and advocate for new cloud native solutions to undefined system needs, where no solution is available within the technical community</li><li>Drive client satisfaction by identifying and developing process improvement and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance of solutions to operations roadmap</li><li>Ensure requirements/tasks from technology departments and/or end users are communicated to stakeholders</li><li>Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Minimum 6 years of software development / automation experience in the Cloud Platform engineering domain.</li><li>Must have a strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation using technologies such as:<ul><li>Terraform</li><li>Kubernetes</li><li>Java with Spring Boot</li><li>Helm</li><li>Spring Reactive</li><li>Linux</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Strong object-oriented design and programming skills and experience in OO languages (Java)</li><li>Proven experience applying domain driven design to build complex business applications</li><li>Hands-on experience with GCP (Preferred) or AWS Cloud services.
