As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:• Execute pre-defined performance test scripts, including load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests, under supervision.• Analyze test results and identify potential performance issues with guidance from senior engineers.• Contribute to the development of performance test plans and scripts.• Learn and apply performance testing best practices and methodologies.• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot performance issues.• Monitor application performance in pre-production environments.• Create and maintain performance test reports and documentation.• Stay up-to-date with performance testing trends and technologies required.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.• 3+ years of experience in performance testing.• Understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.)• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) are desirable.• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic).• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Good communication and collaboration skills.• Basic understanding of application architectures.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with any performance testing tools.• Basic scripting knowledge.• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
