The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of PeopleSoft Financials, with the ability to work on both technical and functional aspects of the software. This role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance existing systems, implement new solutions, and provide ongoing support for PeopleSoft Financial applications.</p> <p/> <p><b><span>The challenge: </span></b></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations to PeopleSoft Financials applications.</li> <li>Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.</li> <li>Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</li> <li>Develop and maintain complex PeopleSoft reports, queries, and data extracts to meet business needs.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the PeopleSoft Financial applications.</li> <li>Document system configurations, processes, and technical specifications for knowledge transfer and compliance.</li> <li>Work closely with project managers to contribute to project planning and execution.</li> <li>Stay informed about PeopleSoft Finance best practices and advocate for innovative solutions.</li> <li>Assist with the testing and implementation of a PUM upgrade on an annual basis.</li> <li>Ensure performance optimization.</li> <li>On call rotation responsibilities including occasional weekend work.</li> </ul> <p/> <p><b><span>What Sets You Apart: (Basic Qualifications)</span></b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree with two plus (2+) years of prior relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree</li> <li>Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).</li> <li>Proficient in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Component Interface.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts, including experience with Oracle databases.</li> <li>Experience with reporting tools such as SQR, Crystal Reports, or Query Manager.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.</li> <li>Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Eagerness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and best practices in PeopleSoft Financials.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li> </ul> <p/> <p><b><span>You Might also have: </span></b></p> <ul> <li>Public sector Experience with a Utility or Energy Based company</li> <li>Experience in agile methodologies and project management is an advantage.</li> <li>Relevant certifications in PeopleSoft or related technologies are preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with PeopleSoft upgrade processes.</li> <li>Experience with both Linux and Windows platforms.</li> <li>Experience with Service Now case management software.</li> <li>Experience with supporting large applications and interacting with end business users.</li> </ul> <p><span>We’re not looking for perfectly polished resumes or perfect fits.
