Purpose of the role:Analyze, design, code, debug, review and modify new/ existing Telco OpenWRT related software modules for new/ existing Telco OpenWRT productsKey Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for:· Implement new features and extend existing functionality or develop from scratch on the products by writing the code using the required programming language and technologies, provide complete implementation with unit testing done.· Work with Managers/Leads/Developers/Testers across locations in delivering the software as per the project plan within the committed timelines without compromising on quality using Agile methodology.· Work with Test teams during test phase, debug, fix and test the issues raised during multiple levels of testing. Prioritize, debug and fix the critical/escalated issues with quick turn-around time.· Work with CTS teams during customer platform issue session through remote support or on-site support to analyze, debug, and fix issue in timely manner.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the role: Over the next 12 months this role’s success gets measured on:On time delivery Code Stability/Simplicity Customer satisfaction Bug rates KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: In this role, you will be successful, if you have:Experience:Bachelor/Master of Engineering, MCA with overall experience 5-8 years Skills & Competencies:Must Have:Required Skills:· 5+ of working experience in software development· Good development and porting experience in OpenWRT framework· Sound knowledge on C programming· Good knowledge on Linux shell script and Lua· Good knowledge on Network programming on Linux platform· Knowledge in ONU/ONT and OLT· Experience on Broadcom or Airoha gateway SDK is an additional advantage.Core Component/Technology Level Telco OpenWRT Expert Networking Expert Linux Embedded System Expert C Programming Expert Preferred Skills:Agility: Drive speed of decision making and actions Confidence to take on the world: Think Big and dare to try Transparency: Build trust through openness and sharing of information and resources Improve Collaboration: We all win when we work together Ownership: Demonstrate commitment, make it happen, do it well Nurture learning & Growth: Enable learning, capability, enrichment and growth of our people.
