The role is also expected to make a difference to the product in terms of innovation, platform mindset, and best designs and contribute towards identifying technical risks and finding alternate solutions to problems.</p> <p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage a high-performing team of 12-15 engineers and own the accountability of complete end-to-end delivery</li> <li>Drive design, development, implementation and documentation of engineering solutions.</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder and program management skills</li> <li>Establish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metrics</li> <li>Interact with PANW engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.</li> <li>Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.</li> <li>Work closely with the Architects and cross-functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines.</li> <li>Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products</li> <li>Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high-performing agile teams.</li> <li>Participating in organizational events like hackathon/demo days etc.</li> <li>Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.</li> <li>Mentoring and coaching the team and helping them grow</li> </ul> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"> <p><strong>Your Experience </strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years experience in building products and managing high-performing teams</li> <li>Have led a team of 10-12 engineers and owned accountability of E2E delivery</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder and program management</li> <li>Extensive experience building services using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Python</li> <li>Advocacy for engineering and operational excellence.</li> <li>Exposure to developing large-scale data platforms using cloud technologies and Data warehouse products like BigQuery and Athena.</li> <li>Proficient in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs)</li> <li>Strong experience in running cloud-distributed system in production for at least 2-3 years</li> <li>Experience in creating high-performing, highly scalable, and distributed middle-tier services, in the Cloud like GCP or AWS</li> <li>Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of Restful/SOAP web services</li> <li>Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms </li> <li>Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins,  GCP DevOps</li> <li>Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies</li> <li>Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.</li> <li>Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly.
