Relocation assistance and Sponsorship is not provided.***  JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE This position is responsible for the data network environment supporting Data Centers, remote site locations, wide area network connectivity, Internet, and cloud connectivity for Entergy.   The role manages a staff of network engineers that design network solutions, execute network and other IT projects, as well as supporting the daily operational functions including incident response, BAU changes and vulnerability remediation.  The Mgr., IT Network works closely with peer IT, IS and business functional areas.  JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul type="disc"><li>Ownership of delivering business outcomes</li><li>Build and manage a high a performing team.</li><li>Effectively communicate complex ideas/concepts to business leaders at all levels and functions to drive business outcomes and value delivery.</li><li>Understand the business requirements and incorporate into all data network designs.</li><li>Accountable to meet or exceed expected business outcomes with Customer Centricity as the driving principle.</li><li>Develop and maintain a network environment that delivers reliable, predictable, secure, and cost-effective services.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).</li><li>Provide strong leadership across the data network and IT organization.</li><li>Develop and grow staff members with technical and business acumen.</li></ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Requirements:<ul type="disc"><li>Bachelor’s Degree or relevant technical experience (equivalent work experience)</li><li>Advanced degree is a plus</li><li>Advanced Network certifications are a plus</li></ul>   Minimum Experience:<ul type="disc"><li>7+ years relevant data network experience, with design, automation, and management of large, complex data network environments</li><li>3+ years’ experience in managing a technical team responsible for design, automation, and management of large, complex data network environments.</li><li>Experience in vendor relationships and contract management</li><li>Familiarity with business operations, financial planning, regulatory, and best in class technology landscape</li><li>Specific and direct experience with network technologies</li><li>Experience with developing relationships with business partners/customers</li><li>Experience in delivering large complex technical projects/programs</li><li>Experience in development of technology road maps and associated multi-year budgets</li></ul>  Minimum Skills and Knowledge:<ul type="disc"><li>Technical Leadership</li><ul type="circle"><li>Strong understanding of network technologies and their application</li><li>Understanding of Cloud Technologies and offerings</li><li>Strong knowledge of network operations support.</li></ul><li>Professional Leadership</li><ul type="circle"><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively with business leadership and resources in a multi-location, cross-functional, network/matrix environment</li><li>Ability to leverage continuous improvement practices to provide sustainable value to internal/external customers</li><li>Establish positive and influential relationships   </li><li>The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate, and lead the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance</li><li>Proven ability to execute for results and lead cross-functional, diverse teams</li></ul></ul><ul type="disc"><li>Personal Style/s </li><ul type="circle"><li>Strong leadership skills and ability to provide clear direction   </li><li>An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas</li><li>Ability to influence and motivate others</li><li>Has a high degree of integrity and forethought in approach to making decisions</li><li>Ability to act in a transparent and consistent manner while always considering what is best for the organization</li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty;
