You will be instrumental in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance software for high-velocity fleet management solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge, the ability to collaborate effectively, and strong leadership in driving technical excellence.You are a member of an agile development team and participate in the planning and execution of work items.<h3>Essential Responsibilities</h3><ul data-path-to-node="16"><li>Architect and implement scalable, secure, and performant solutions using Laravel, Node.js, and modern web technologies.</li><li>Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs that power core fleet management features (telematics, asset management, real-time tracking).</li><li>Build and optimize data processing pipelines handling high-volume telemetry and event streams from connected vehicles and devices.</li><li>Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS, and implement robust authentication using Auth0 and Laravel Passport.</li><li>Mentor and coach team members on technical design, coding standards, and professional development while producing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough code reviews.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3>Required experience<ul data-path-to-node="19"><li>8+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in senior technical or leadership roles.</li><li>Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework (including service providers, middleware, Eloquent ORM, and queue workers).</li><li>Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript (or JavaScript) for building scalable backend services (e.g., Express.js).</li><li>Expertise in event-driven integration patterns using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS.</li><li>Strong database experience with PostgreSQL (including TimescaleDB), MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.</li><li>Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).</li><li>Experience with testing frameworks including PHPUnit, Codeception, Jest, and Mocha.</li><li>Proven ability to architect and design scalable, distributed, cloud-native systems (AWS/Azure or GCP).</li></ul>Nice to have<ul data-path-to-node="21"><li>Experience with Vue/React, GraphQL, and AWS CDK is a bonus.</li></ul><h3>Other Requirements</h3><ul data-path-to-node="23"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system design.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>You are dedicated to delivering high quality and performant solutions.</li></ul>The company offers various benefits to regular, full-time employees including:<ul data-path-to-node="25"><li>Provident fund and gratuity in accordance with applicable laws.</li><li>Paid vacation, sick leave and holidays, in accordance with applicable laws.</li><li>Twenty-Six weeks of paid maternity leave.</li></ul>Please note that the compensation details listed in India role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
