The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis activities.<br/><br/><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li>Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality</li><li>Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems</li><li><p><span>Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries.</span></p><p><span>Strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem and its components (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) and their application in data analytics.</span></p><p><span>Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.</span></p><p><span>Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.</span></p><p><span>Experience with Agile methodologies.</span></p></li></ul><p><br/><b><u>Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li>5-8 years of relevant experience</li><li><span>Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or data-focused environment, with experience in data warehousing or data lake environments preferred.</span></li><li>Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements</li></ul><p><br/><b><u>Education:</u></b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.</span></li></ul><p/><p><br/>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
