Title: Lead Application Support Location: Mumbai Experience: 7+ yearsJob Responsibilities:<ul style="text-align: justify;"><li style="text-align: justify;">Identify potential Issues for troubleshooting for closure of software/ infrastructure problem.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Work with Cross-Functional Teams interface with business group/ vendor for operation & identify automation opportunities in daily operational process.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Identify and implement process improvement for production operations and setup monitoring script in Shell /Python.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Understand and follow the laid down policies and processes to ensure stable operation and service continuity of all critical production systems and meet SLA.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Interact with customers or clients about the project status and solve their technical issues if any.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Monitoring equipment functioning to ensure system operation according to the specifications & recommend corrective action and monitoring improvement, Monitor running applications using various tools like Grafana, Greylog, nagios, Sentry etc.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Incident management – handling ticket assigned to specific application issue provide short term fixes and workaround to allow Business priority to be achieved. Escalated to L3 for repeated incident.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Problem management – Analysis of problem/issue and identification of root cause, follow up for the resolution of issue with Respective teams.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Excellent customer service & Communication skills. attention to detail, a proactive approach.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines</li></ul>Job Description:<ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Working knowledge of IT Hardware and Software, MySQL Databases,Linux/Unix,Shell Script, Python,Mongo DB.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Understanding of Web application setup and application servers etc. Working knowledge of messaging tools like Rabbit MQ.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Providing software application support to Data Operation teams within the organisation, and to External clients when required.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Monitoring the Infra and Application through Sentry, Graphana & DataDog.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Analysing the logs and creating graphs/statistics/dashboards for the existing issues in terms of availability and quality using Graphana .</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Performing analysis on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Raising Devops/Dev Jira requests for any configurational/code changes to the application</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Managing Release / Deployment across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Management.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Identifying and resolving technical issues.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Ability to learn and master employer-specific software.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Complex problem solving & Excellent Written, and verbal communication skills</li></ul>
