Working closely with business lines in Singapore, this role will ensure all financial management, statutory reporting and internal controls is in place for business to function effectively.</p> <p>Key responsibilities :</p> <p><strong>Financial Management </strong></p> <ul> <li>Guide a team of Outsourced Accountants to provide timely and accurate book-keeping services.</li> <li>Prepare / review journal entries prepared by accountants.</li> <li>Prepare, monitor & review AP and AR transactions and allocation / overhead journals.</li> <li>Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing, Balance Sheet review and Profit and Loss review (Full Set of Accounts).</li> <li>Assist Financial Controller in preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets.</li> <li>Cashflow management and liaise with regional team for any borrowing shortages or surplus repatriation.</li> <li>Prepare Intercompany billings, entries & settlements.</li> <li>Prepare monthly, quarterly accounting and tax pack submissions to regional team.</li> <li>Prepare statistical reports as required by the authorities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Statutory Reporting (Audit & Taxation) </strong></p> <ul> <li>Liaise with auditors to review the Financial Statements, Statutory reports and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.</li> <li>Corporate tax preparation (ECI reporting, GST reporting, Corporate tax reporting)</li> <li>Liaise with external tax advisor for the corporate tax review and submission.</li> <li>Liaise with external tax advisor for transfer pricing documentation preparation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Internal Control & System Integration </strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and improve accounting and finance processes for better workflow, efficiency, and controls.</li> <li>Perform system (SUN, Concur, etc.) maintenance to ensure required setups are done appropriately.</li> <li>Manage and supervise daily operations and performance of the team to ensure a sound system of internal control for the department.</li> <li>Participate in the financial system integration process with global team.</li> <li>Maintain good communication with internal and external stakeholders, manage expectations and ensure exceptional service.</li> <li>Determine resource requirements and monitor existing and new client engagements.</li> <li>Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"> <ul><li>At least 8 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts</li></ul> <ul><li>Knowledge of Singapore market and regulatory understanding will be an added advantage.</li></ul> <ul> <li>Degree in Accounting or equivalent.</li> <li>Experience in managing new Accounting System Implementation process.</li> <li>High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail</li> <li>Proactive, committed, and able to work under pressure and tight timelines.</li> <li>Strong in Excel, fluent in writing and presentation skills.</li> <li>Meticulous with high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li> </ul> </div></section></body></html>
