About the TeamThe primary purpose of this role is to design, build and maintain the data pipelines and ML ops systems that enable the organization to process large volumes of data and also productionize, scale & manage AI/ML models. The main goal includes building robust data pipelines, feature engineering for AI/ML Projects. This role will harness AI/ML platform capabilities and help accelerate the development of Data & AI-driven productsI. Roles & Responsibilities:Core Responsibilities:• Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering pipelines to support model training and inference.• Ensure data pipelines are robust, scalable, and compliant with data governance and privacy standards.• Aiding to optimize pipelines & models for performance and cost-efficiency on cloud/on-prem platforms.• Implement and manage Orchestration systems for Data Pipelines & AI/ML models.• Manage continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) for Data Pipelines & AI/ML models.• Collaborating with Data Scientists to build the data preprocessing, feature engineering & post processing jobs to ensure that the data used for training the models is of high quality & ready.• Design and implement model monitoring frameworks to track performance drift, data quality and system health in production environments.• Work collaboratively with data scientists to understand model requirements and translate them into scalable engineering solutions by building data preprocessing, feature engineering & post processing jobs to ensure that the data used for training the models is of high quality & ready.• Collaborating with the Business and Product teams to deliver analytics and reports.• Supports the implementation of security and compliance measures within the AI/ML development process, aligning with company policies and industry regulations.• Championing best practices and consistently working to enhance our production pipelines to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency in terms of both time and memory.• Keeps relevant with the latest technologies and frameworks in AI, suggesting improvements and updates to existing systems.II. Years of Experience:• Experience working on Data Quality/Integrity theme, Tools like Great Expectations. • Experience in retail forecasting or other business prediction models/time series forecasting• Experience working with ML Operations tools.III. Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)Required Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or relevant field.IV. Skill Set RequiredPrimary Skills (must have)• Experience supporting or deploying ML and DL models in production environments• Strong programming foundation (Python preferred; familiarity with CI/CD workflows)• Hands-on exposure to ML Ops tools (e.g., MLflow, Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes)• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data platforms (Hadoop ecosystem, Druid, Trino, BigQuery)• Understanding of cloud ML services (Google Vertex AI preferred)• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging) is a plus• Foundational knowledge of version control, testing, and automation frameworks
