Our PSS-team is responsible for developing and maintaining our Passenger Service System (PSS), which is the heart of any airline and runs mission-critical and highly complex modules such as Seats, Inventory, Reservations, and the Day-of-Departure customer processes! Our team is building new PSS system using the latest digital technologies and digital infrastructure to provide our customer the best digital experience in the industry. We have a Data Integration Developer role open that will focus on developing and supporting programs that integrate our Passenger Service Systems (PSS) with internal and external entities and our Global Distribution Services (GDS) partners. The developer will work with counterparts in the U.S. to leverage technologies like IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), Java, ESQL, MQ (Message Queue), and modern container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to streamline and manage these integrations with minimal supervision.This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments.  <ul><li>Develop and support integration programs using IBM ACE, MQ, Java, ESQL, and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) to connect PSS systems with internal and external entities.</li><li>Perform backend testing (API, Mainframe, Middleware) and validate system interactions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.</li><li>Implement automated testing processes and work with container CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment efforts.</li><li>Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation</li><li>Support production deployments, including working off-hours and during CST hours as required</li><li>Monitor and maintain the performance of integration programs, ensuring reliability and high availability.</li><li>Document integration processes, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing and ease of maintenance. </li></ul> This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc. <h2>Qualifications</h2> What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):  <ul><li>5+ years of relevant experience in integration development and systems</li><li>4+ years Hands on experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies.</li><li>5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of IBM ACE/IIB development, including ESQL, Java, and integration patterns.</li><li>3+ years if experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies.</li><li>3+ Experience with various data formats (XML, JSON, EDIFACT, Teletype, DFDL etc.) and transformation techniques.</li><li>Excellent understanding of message-oriented middleware (MQ), Solace and related technologies.</li><li>Ability to work with distributed teams and under time constraints to meet deadlines.</li><li>Experience with databases such as SQL or Oracle</li><li>Experience working with international teams or clients in a multinational setting</li><li>Good understanding of AWS Cloud and experience with Containers, dockers, Kubernetes.</li><li>Exhibit written and spoken English fluency</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship</li><li>Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification</li><li>Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position </li></ul> </body></html>
