Position Summary: insights to internal and external business partners and customers that help reduce health costs, improve outcomes, provide financial security and measure and forecast business performance. The Foundational Analytics & Data team has joint accountability with business operations to achieve Cigna’s customer-centric, business growth objectives and strives for high levels of alignment, day-to-day engagement. The team provides analytical discipline and rigor to enable fact-based decisions for the business.The Advisor will provide expert measurable data content and deliverables by using SQL and other tools for data profiling, data mapping and data analysis related to the Enterprise Data environment. This person will work closely in an Agile Team setting with the Technical Product Owner to meet business deliverables and technical capabilities. This position is with Evernorth Health Services, a business within Cigna. Job Description & Responsibilities: <ul><li>Business Analysis related to FHIR compliance</li><li>Analyze the requirements of compliance and business Interoperability Program use cases and communicate business requirements to the team, mapping and QA leads.</li><li>prepares a presentation and conducts a kickoff meeting to communicate project requirements to all stakeholders.</li><li>Facilitates with all stakeholders a FHIR Forum review meeting of the mapping specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment across business units.</li><li>responsible for ensuring that the final product aligns with the regulatory or business requirement, and for providing final sign-off of all new and amended mapping documents.</li><li>Conduct data research and analysis to assist with mapping data sources.</li><li>Ensure quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed by queries to compare source data to target data.</li><li>Document data gaps with solutions while working with the delivery teams to ensure business needs are met.</li><li>Define/help design new business views as needed by the business and work with the delivery team.</li><li>Collaborates with Product Team and solution engineering experts to define, organize and manage data. </li><li>Drive innovation proactively, partner to identify and implement new ideas/technologies, which could substantially improve customer experience and/or create differentiation.</li><li>Act as a data expert for the Agile Scrum Team and the stakeholders.</li><li>Capture and validate summarized results for Technical Product Owner and team after data solutions are deployed to production by using various data tools such as Teradata, Python and SQL.</li><li>Participate in educational opportunities to expand on specific healthcare domains i.e. (Claim, Customer, and Client) with the end goal of becoming a Subject Matter Expert for their respective domains.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Experience Required: <ul><li>5 - 8 years of hands-on experience working with data mining, FHIR, business requirements, data analysis, informatics data processing software and languages</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra</li></ul> Experience Desired: <ul><li>Experience with Interoperability and FHIR standards</li><li>Experience with Healthcare Data</li><li>Experience working with Data Governance, Data Modelers will be a plus</li><li>Familiarity with SQL is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with SDLP</li></ul> Education and Training Required: BS or BA degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience and training Primary Skills: <ul><li>FHIR Subject Matter Expert</li><li>Business Analysis</li><li>Teradata Studio, Toad, Git, Alation, SQL</li><li>Python, SAS, Java/Scala, json, Bash Scripting, PL/SQL, Transact SQL, Hadoop, AWS, Collibra DIC, Collibra DQ, Teradata Vantage, Databricks.</li></ul> Additional Skills: <ul><li>Detailed oriented with proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in data informatics & data exchange, particularly using healthcare and clinical data such as: Claim, Membership, Client Structure, Benefits, and Utilization Management/Case Management etc.</li><li>Experience applying a consultative and collaborative approach.</li><li>Previous SAFE and Agile experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working independently with limited direction/guidance.</li><li>Defining and documenting data requirements.</li></ul> About Evernorth Health Services<div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
