To develop / draft general & special condition of contract.<br/> 2. To maintain and implement construction proforma / budget for each project.<br/> 3. To identify contract material requirement (based on project plans and lead time) and timely<br/> procurement of the same at the most economical rate without compromising on quality.<br/> 4. To ensure and maintain effective vendor relationship to get the best deals for the organization.<br/> 5. Increase use of lower cost logistics and distribution channels.<br/> 6. To conduct procurement analysis, supply risk assessments, demand and supply market analysis and<br/> supplier evaluation.<br/> 7. Provide MIS report.<br/> 8. To install a system of inspection in contract to ensure that materials received are as per specifications.<br/> 9. To establish a system of pre-qualification of vendors & suppliers.<br/> 10. To research new materials for design and cost savings.<br/> 11. To develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.<br/> 12. To assist in maintaining company quality control program.<br/> 13. Handle change order requests and claim management.</p> <p><strong>Accountabilities</strong><br/> 1. To ensure accurate take-offs so that budgets are accurate.<br/> 2. To ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations.<br/> 3. To assist in settling invoice or contract disputes.</p> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"> <p>1. BE Civil.<br/> 2. Additional qualification like Postgraduate in Contract Management is preferred.<br/> 3. Excellent computer skills and ability to read and understand construction plans.<br/> 4. Minimum 18-20 years construction industry experience of which at least 15 years has been in<br/> procurement and should have handled multiple projects.<br/> 5. Knowledge of complete tendering process and familiarity with Contract Management, Standard Tender conditions and exposure to Indian and International conditions like FIDIC<br/> 6. Exposure to turnkey contracts and projects like commercial buildings, IT Parks, Hotels, Residential,<br/> Hospital etc. is essential.<br/>  </p> <p>Exposure to claim management & taxation.</p> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"><p>The candidate should have excellent analytical, strategic, leadership, communications, and writing<br/> skills.
