This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies who is ready to take the next step in their career.</p> <p>You’ll work on a variety of client-facing projects, supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure automation, and service optimisation. The role involves hands-on delivery, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams to design and implement scalable solutions.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver and support infrastructure solutions across <strong>Azure</strong>, <strong>VMware</strong>, <strong>Hyper-V,</strong> and <strong>Office365</strong>.</li> <li>Build and maintain <strong>Infrastructure-as-Code</strong> using <strong>Terraform</strong>, and <strong>ARM templates</strong>.</li> <li>Support <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> using <strong>Azure DevOps</strong>, <strong>GitHub Actions</strong>, and <strong>Ansible</strong> for automation </li> <li>Deploy and manage <strong>Azure Landing Zones</strong>, <strong>App Gateways</strong>, <strong>NSGs</strong>, and <strong>WAFs</strong> </li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues across <strong>Windows Server</strong>, <strong>Active Directory</strong>, <strong>DNS</strong>, <strong>Networking</strong>, and <strong>Security</strong>.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>backup and disaster recovery</strong> technologies</li> <li>Participate in <strong>Well-Architected Reviews</strong>, <strong>cost optimisation</strong>, and <strong>AVD estate tuning</strong> </li> <li>Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them in structured <strong>ITIL/ISO20000</strong> environments.</li> <li>Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and tooling initiatives </li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Technologies</strong></p> <p>You don’t need to know all of these, but experience with several is expected:</p> <ul> <li> <strong>Cloud</strong>: Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center</li> <li> <strong>Automation & IaC</strong>: Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps</li> <li> <strong>Networking & Security</strong>: Azure Networking, vNets, NSGs, WAFs</li> <li> <strong>Monitoring & Logging</strong>: Opsview, New Relic, Splunk, Azure Monitor</li> <li> <strong>Virtualisation</strong>: VMware, Hyper-V</li> <li> <strong>OS & Identity</strong>: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP</li> <li> <strong>Data & Reporting</strong>: Monitoring tools, Excel Dashboards, Service Now</li> <li> <strong>Project Tools</strong>: ServiceNow, ITSM, Agile/PRINCE2 environments</li> </ul> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"> <p><strong>Desirable Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Security Engineer / Azure Solutions Architect</li> <li>AZ-800, AZ-104*, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-801, AZ-140</li> <li>HashiCorp Terraform Associate</li> <li>ITIL Foundation v4</li> <li>PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner (optional)</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>4–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud consulting.</li> <li>Strong technical background in <strong>VMware</strong>, <strong>Windows Server</strong>, <strong>Hyper-V</strong>, and traditional infrastructure</li> <li>Hands-on, proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Experience supporting multiple clients and technologies.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li> <li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.</li> </ul> </div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div> <p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"/> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"> <p>At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being, professional growth, and financial stability. </p> <p>One of our standout advantages is the ability to work with a hybrid schedule along with business travel, allowing our employees to strike a balance between work and life.
