This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing global team, with a primary focus on calculating and analyzing investment portfolio and composite performance, including detailed attribution and contribution analysis. The role also involves managing the coordination and production of reporting deliverables, calculation of asset-level track records, and providing tailored performance insights to support portfolio management, investor relations, and marketing efforts.An ideal candidate for this Associate Vice President role is a self-motivated professional with a consulting mindset—skilled at asking insightful questions, building strong relationships, and quickly adapting to meet deadlines. They are highly organized and possess a strong client-service orientation, effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a proven track record of success and experience thriving in high-growth, rapidly evolving settings.<h1> Primary functions and essential responsibilities</h1> Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead and manage a team responsible for daily and monthly performance reporting, ensuring high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.</li><li>Oversee multiple reporting and closing projects across asset classes, providing strategic direction, process improvements, and mentoring to junior team members.</li><li>Calculate and interpret single period and multi-period contribution and attribution results, and performance-based risk and appraisal metrics for portfolio management and investor relations teams.</li><li>Calculate security, sector, and total-level performance results for use in internal, client, and shareholder reporting, and performance composites.</li><li>Ensure that data properly flows from the accounting system to the performance system and help to troubleshoot and resolve issues as necessary.</li><li>Adhere to procedures designed to ensure compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), SEC, and FINRA regulations.</li><li>Fulfill ad hoc client and marketing requests, and answer DDQ and RFP questions.</li><li>Assist with executing strategic projects such as asset track records, onboarding assets from acquisitions and integrating non-supported business units.</li><li>Help develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and enhance reporting and analytical capabilities of the team.</li><li>Education:</li><li>Bachelor's degree in a business-related or quantitative field preferred (e.g. economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, accounting, etc.).</li><li>CFA charter and/or CIPM designation is desirable.</li><li>Commitment to pursue CIPM designation for candidates without CFA charter or CIPM designation.</li><li>Experience: </li><li>10+ years of performance-related experience is required.</li><li>Understand of performance concepts, including time-weighted returns, money-weighted returns, contribution etc.</li><li>Strong fixed-income product knowledge, including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, structured securities, derivatives, and other fixed income instruments is desirable</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills required</li><li>Experience using Eagle Performance and Bloomberg is desirable.</li><li>Basic understanding of Python, SQL, and PowerBI is a plus.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills</li><li>Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player</li><li>Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy and process ownership.</li><li>High accuracy and detail orientation; confident decision-making skills</li><li>Able to pick up and work with new technology solutions (Power BI, Data Bricks, BI tools, etc.)</li><li>Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; strong customer focus</li></ul> Reporting RelationshipsAssociate Vice President, Performance & Attribution There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
