<html><body> Automation Engineer Advisor Position OverviewThe Automation Engineer advisor will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of designing and architecting automation frameworks for backend testing and data analysis of applications for Cigna’s Individual and Family plans.We are looking for a skilled automation test lead with strong ETL Knowledge who will join our team and will possess hands on experience to create and execute test scripts through automation testing reducing test cycle time and will play a vital role in validating end to end functionalities ensuring the quality and stability of the platform Qualifications• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology and 11 - 13 years of experience in Quality Assurance Testing & Analysis• Must have experience with ETL Testing, Jira, Zephyr, Postman, Git, Jenkins, SQL, Agile/Scrum methodology, Confluence, SharePoint, Toad, and experience in the healthcare domain.• Should be proficient in AWS (Lambda/S3/Glue/ RDS) and strong knowledge on Databricks platform (PySpark/ DLT/ Airflow/ DeltaLakehouse or Medallion architecture)• Automation framework: Robot framework using Python, BDD with Jbehave/Cucumber Framework for API automation• Certification in Python/ Databricks /AWS is a plus. Responsibilities· Understand back-end and front-end architecture components required to formulate test strategies.· Work with Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Managers, fellow QE and Developers) to properly define testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.· In depth data analysis skills with strong SQL and Python programming knowledge· Participate in sprint-level, integration, and regression test planning and execution. Design and develop scripts to run automated tests to ensure consistency, repeatability, and accelerate delivery.· Determine priorities for test scenarios and create effective execution plans. Perform manual and automation testing.· Perform defect reporting and triaging.· Analyze failure patterns and determine corrective actions to eliminate errors. Adhere to Quality Engineering best practices while helping drive changes to testing practices where necessary.· Work in an Agile environment with bi-weekly sprints and daily scrum calls to maintain industry level best practices for software development.· Implement test suites to test developed functionalities based on test scenarios proposed by Analysts/ Product Owners.· Develop and Use Test Automation Frameworks to build end to end test automation suite· Define testing criteria using relevant business requirements.· Design and develop optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Perform functional, integration, release, and regression testingDetermine test strategy/plan for manual and automated testing using agile methodology.· Design and develop scripts to run automated tests· Work with internal and external stakeholders to leverage data and information to support business and client needs.· Work with analysts, subject matter experts, and developers to assist in data integration and transformation analysis.· Perform impact analysis, document key issues, and report and triage defects.
