•	Process Engineering  Research Lab ( PERL ) activity   
•	Understanding and absorption of process technology from PERL team - Dholka
•	Detail engineering and scale up of technology to make it suitable for plant implementation.
•	Implementation of continuous process at plant level as per available technology.
•	Process Optimization and process engineering support to R & D and technology transfer team for fast and smooth technology transfer.
•	Collection of plant data ( QPES : yield, time cycle, equipment volume, occupancy) 
•	Process operation monitoring and verification of data
•	Challenge operation timing and methodology with alternate cost effective methods.
•	To find out different strategy of operation to enhance productivity/yield OR reduce time cycle and utilization of energy. 
•	Laboratory work to validate proposed change at plant.
•	Support & review process design of equipment, P & I diagram, Lay out, equipment sizing, specification sheet preparation, vendor correspondence for site implementation.
•	Cost benefit report of process engineering activity 
•	Software knowledge for quick chemical engineering calculations.
•	Operational trouble shooting for safe, quick and smooth operation of equipment and system.
•	Performance monitoring of utility system and support to Engg service dept for utility cost reduction.
•	ETP related issues.
•	Finding alternate energy source to reduce down energy (fuel, electricity) cost.
•	Technical scrutiny of CAPEX demand.
•	Discussion with user for his requirement
•	To convince the user with technical evaluation of actual requirement.
