Proficient in many types and phases of applications programming activities, but continuing to develop full competency.</li><li>Completes day-to-day Application Development tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from team members.</li><li>Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Also resolves non-routine issues escalated from other team members.</li><li>Provides technical assistance on the resolution of production system problems where required. Performs root cause analysis for issues and provide resolution. </li><li>This position may perform systems analysis functions, which include researching and evaluating alternative solutions and recommending the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution.</li><li>Participates in project planning and tracking activities.</li><li>Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. </li><li>Follows source code management and release management procedures.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>B.S. in Computer Science / IT / Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience, typically eight or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting are required</li><li>Experience with T-SQL, SSIS and SQL Server is a huge plus.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of systems SDLC cycle required.</li><li>Ability to present analysis and findings in business context.
