Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.Role Overview<ul><li>Support Data Pipeline Development: Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to process and transform data from various sources into usable formats.</li><li>Data Modeling: Collaborate with senior team members to create and maintain data models that support analytics and reporting needs.</li><li>Understanding Business Processes: Learn and understand business processes, particularly within supply chain sites, to support the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP).</li><li>Collaboration with Business Users: Work closely with business users to understand their data needs and provide support in implementing analytics solutions that align with business objectives.</li><li>Data Quality Assurance: Assist in monitoring and validating data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability for analytics purposes.</li><li>Analytics and Visualization: Develop basic dashboards and visualizations using Spotfire under the guidance of senior team members to support business decision-making.</li><li>Documentation and Standards: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for data pipelines, models, and processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.</li><li>Learning and Development: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of data engineering, analytics tools, and business processes to grow into more advanced responsibilities.</li><li>Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving data workflows and analytics processes, and propose solutions to senior team members. Compliance and Security: Ensure data solutions comply with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards.</li></ul>The Ideal Candidate:<ul> <li> Ideal candidate should have 3+ Yeras experience in SQL and Data visualization tools. </li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field (internship experience is acceptable).</li><li>Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire)</li><li>Foundational understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT(Talend, HVR, Informatica) processes, and database design.</li><li>Willingness to learn and work with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with business users and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with data visualization tools like Spotfire or similar platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.</li><li>Knowledge of GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating system and lean principles.</li><li>Interest in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.</li><li>Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes quickly.</li><li>Customer Focus: Eagerness to understand and address business needs through data-driven solutions.</li><li>Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with business users and senior team members to deliver analytics solutions.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy, quality, and reliability.</li><li>Integrity: Commitment to upholding the highest standards of data security and compliance.</li></ul>At GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
