What You'll Do The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable operations, vendor management, and process improvement, combined with proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring a team. This individual will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in AP processes while driving operational excellence. <ul> <li>Team Leadership & Supervision</li> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.</li> <li>Manage workload distribution and provide support on complex or escalated issues.</li> <li>Accounts Payable Operations</li> <li>Oversee invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment runs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li> <li>Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding liabilities promptly.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and statutory compliance</li> </ul> <li>Process Improvements & Controls</li> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline AP workflows and implement automation where possible.</li> <li>Enhance internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and compliance breaches.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Treasury, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.</li> </ul> <li>Vendor Management</li> <ul> <li>Build strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely query resolution and effective communication.</li> <li>Negotiate payment terms and support vendor onboarding.</li> </ul> <li>Reporting & Audit Support</li> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly AP reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review.</li> <li>Support internal and external audits by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely documentation.</li> </ul> </ul> What We're Looking For <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.</li> <li>~4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable in international environments with experience in US and European based companies</li> <li>3-4 years of supervisory/team lead experience in AP operations.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance</li> <li>Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar) and MS Excel.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.</li> </ul> At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
