D&I has become the way of working at VIL. As we prepare for future, we ensured D&I is everyone’s prerogative and integrated it into the business priority where we celebrate differences, show respect and create an avenue for people to share ideas.
We intend to build an organisation which is the reflection of our society where all genders are represented as per the law of nature.
The journey has already began, and our team never gets tired of launching initiatives specific to the context and integrate it into our company’s aspiration.
We launched a series of initiatives on D&I;
Explore, Enhance and Establish: A development approach on addressing the professional and personal needs basis the career stages and lifecycle of women.
Unconscious Bias: An Intervention focusing on gender intelligence, equality, inclusion and addressing homosexuality to reinforce our commitment towards diversity and set the expected ways of behaviours.
Recruitment and retention: We understand diversity and inclusion has a direct impact on business, brand image and financial performance, which is why our recruitment and retention strategies are also carefully designed to address it. As a step towards achieving it, we have identified women friendly roles and created a structured career path.
Women friendly policies - Under the ambit of diversity and inclusion, employees can avail a host of benefits including flexible working hours, work from home, remote working, pre and post maternity support.
Employee Assistance Program: Employee counselling to deal with stress, emotions and any concerns experienced at work or at home.
Complaints grievance process: Constitution of POSH and Values committee is put in place to investigate all allegations on any form of discrimination or harassment.
