<p>Violet Health is a start-up with a mission to positively disrupt global health challenges and nutrition deficiencies through innovative health products created for and with consumers. With our first product, Violet Health's aim is to break the destructive, global cycle of anemia among pregnant women and their children.</p> <p>Developed with nutritionists, doctors, and pregnant women in India, our product is an effective and tasty solution for iron deficiency anemia: a culturally appropriate, iron and folic acid (IFA) fortified food. Clinically tested, our product addresses non-adherence to iron folic acid tablets. Our work and product research has been supported by USAID and Grand Challenges Canada.</p> <p>Violet Health was founded by Jennifer Tsai, MPH, and Matthew Edmundson, who met at and received their MBAs from NYU&rsquo;s Stern School of Business.&nbsp;</p>
