The Vimson Group started with Mineral Development with V. M. Salgaocar and Bro. Pvt. Ltd.  We are India’s first vertically integrated mining operation spanning exploration, ore extraction, processing, multi-modal logistics, and export capabilities.

The group is now evolving into a services organisation with several different businesses including Mining Consulting, Trading, a NBFC and an accelerator that supports start-ups in the mining space to grow. 

The Vimson Group also has philanthropic interests in sports with over 6 decades running the Salgaocar Football Club whic has won several national championships, and healthcare with the SMRC's V. M. Salgaocar Hospital which is a not-for-profit super specialty healthcare centre with a capacity of approx, 100 beds
