The Polymath School is Mumbai's first K-12 Project-Based-Learning School. 

In projects that typically last 3-4 months, we integrate rich content, 21st-century skills and human values in the context of a real-life problem or a challenge. The interdisciplinary nature of projects, along with the real-life context, makes learning come alive for students and teachers.

As an example, one of the year-long projects that our students are currently doing is on "Organic Farming", the details of which you can find here and here. Another example is of a project that our students did last year - "Creating a Frog Habitat". (Details here).

Even though we are a school, we try to maintain a start-up culture. The reason for that is simple - if we want our students to develop life-skills like critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, etc., we, the facilitators (teachers) and supporting staff, need to live it ourselves.
