The project “Solar training and Renewable energy entrepreneurship Center” propose to establish state of art and first of its kind training cum incubation centre for marginalised population with special focus on women to offer training in renewable energy and assisting such trained candidates in pursuing entrepreneurship. The project with financial and strategic support from Norwegian stakeholders in particular NORAD funded DIGNI (https://digni.no/en/), DFEF Aid and implementing local partner New Life League, shall have three phases of training as detailed below:

Phase I:STREEC shall offer vocational courses for products/solutions which have business and industry relevance with focus on renewable energy. STREEC shall endeavour to pick off the courses which are designed, approved by Indian government under the national skill mission as long as they are Industry relevant and customise them to add value.

Phase II:Along with vocational technical course, the students shall also undergo entrepreneurship, managerial training. This shall also be backed by training on digital literacy, English classes and training on Human Rights and awareness to enhance their financial independence and social acceptance.

Phase III:Targets employment generation by promoting entrepreneurship. Students shall be given incubation and entrepreneurship support through a dedicated social entrepreneurship arm of STREEC
