Reap Benefit is a not-for-profit social organisation focussed on civic problem-solving. Our vision is to have every
young Indian become a Public Problem Solver (called Solve Ninja).
We believe that we can enable the world’s highest rate of civic participation in India. We will work to co-create active
citizens who see local civic problem solving as a fundamental responsibility. Our mission is to seed a cadre of young
Indians (called Solve Ninjas) as citizen leaders who will mobilise action-based civic participation leading to activated
citizenry.
Our approach to building “civic muscle” in youth to solve local community problems is through:
● Local Data: Understanding and crowdsourcing local data to solve local issues
● Local Solutions: Implementing or designing local solutions
● Local Campaigns: Implement or starting local campaigns
Since 2013, we have engaged more than 45,000+ Solve Ninjas who have recorded over 94000 problem-solving
actions, demonstrating 3.1x increase in citizenship skills. This led to a building of 550+ civic solutions, 2000+ local
campaigns leading to savings
