Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Acadamy is the premium School of Performing Arts managed by Swar Kala Sangam.</p> <p>Swar Kala Sangam was established 33 years ago in Jammu - J&amp;K when the Founder - Director Prof. Baldev Singh Bali decided to dedicate his life in the field of Music. Prof. Bali studied the intricacies of music under the guidance of Sangeet MahaMaho Upadhayay Pt. Dilip Chanderji Vedi and Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan Pt. Bhimsenji Joshi. he has expertised in Dhrupad, Dhamar, Khayal, Thumri and Tappa. He holds the formal degrees of Sangeet Alankaar from Gandharv Mahavidhyalay Mandal - Pune, Prabhakar from Punjab University and BA from University of Jammu and Kashmir.</p> <p>The aim and objective of the Sangam are to teach the asspirants the various Performing Arts, organise music conferences, demonstrations, festivals in memory of eminent musicians and also to encourage young artists by giving them all the help to exhibit their talent.
