Maternity Leave Policy

All women employees at Philips are entitled to fully paid maternity leave of twenty-six weeks.

Child Adoption: Child adoption is treated as similar to childbirth at Philips. An employee who legally adopts a child or is a commissioning mother is entitled to the same benefits as normal birth from the date when the child is handed over to the mother.

Paternity Leave Policy

Philips Paternity policy enables fathers (including father of a legally adopted child) to provide care to the child, develop an emotional bond and share responsibility with the mother. At Philips, we understand and acknowledge fully that men also need to balance work and family commitments during this crucial time & life event.

All male employees can avail a total of 8 calendar weeks’ of Paternity Leave till the child turns 2.
