Confirmed Female employees who have worked continuously for a period of 6 months or more with the North Brick in the past twelve months immediately preceding the date of expected delivery are eligible for maternity leave as per the Maternity Benefits Act, as amended in March 2017.

All women employees, who are not qualified to claim maternity benefits under Section 50 of the ESI Act, 1948 are entitled to the grant of maternity leave under the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act 2017 on full pay for a period of 13 weeks and 13 weeks of unpaid leave for the first two children from the date of the commencement of leave subject to production of medical certificate from the authorized medical attendant.
