This led us to explore sourcing and processing of these fibres from Indian origin conforming to International standards for Organic farming and GOTS.
With innovation and experiments with other natural fibres and their blends and also unique processes like use of soapberry, neem and others in processing textiles or yarns for a variety of uses from environment protection, gardening to yoga mats. Mojopanda addresses the needs of a growing and demanding population seeking sustainable lifestyles the company is developing capability in sustainable and renewable textiles.
This urges us to explore the total realm of natural fibres of India – the largest source of natural raw material in the world for production into innovative yarns, blends and textiles for use in the renewable fibre space.
This will increase the availability of fibres for designers seeking to use small runs of sustainable textiles and participation in the development and use of all natural fibres and will add to the research pursuit by educational and research interests of textiles, fashion and universities.
