Maternity Leave Policy
L’Oréal India provides 26 weeks of paid leave to new mothers, LGBTQI+ and adoptive parents. Maternity Leave: L’Oréal India provides 26 weeks of paid leave to new mothers, LGBTQI+ and adoptive parents.
Maternity Bonus: A maternity bonus is also payable under the Medical Bonus of Maternity Benefit Act 1961. This can be availed by submitting your child’s birth certificate once you have returned to work.
Reduced work hours for new mothers returning from maternity leave: To help new mothers ease back into work, they can also avail of reduced work hours for 4 continuous weeks immediately after resuming work. During this period, an employee will have to spend minimum five hours at work and should plan this schedule with the consent of the manager.
New mothers travelling for business: New mothers with children less than 1 year old will be eligible to claim travel and accommodation cost of an accompanying adult, to take care of the child while travelling for business.
Child-Care Facility
New mothers are eligible for a child-care allowance of up to Rs 96,000 per annum per child up to 2 children. This is given for a period of 2 years from the date of joining back from maternity leave. New joiners with child/children less than 2 years old will also be eligible for this allowance till the child completes 2 years of age. We provide this amount as a part of monthly salary at the rate of Rs 8000 per month, once they have resumed work after Maternity leave.
