Once they finish schooling, many of them are not prepared to deal with the challenges that life throws at them.</p> <p>Founded in 1999, Diya Foundation, Bangalore, trains them on life skills and employability skills that help them to face life&rsquo;s challenges in a mature way. A vocational training centre and a registered charitable trust, Diya Foundation provides them with training and employment opportunities. At Diya Foundation, every adult with intellectual challenges is trained as per their strengths and interests to build up skills in the areas of self management and household management; hospitality, office assistants, retail and housekeeping and production/packaging to make them self dependent, productive and contributing adults.</p>
