Maternity Leave Policy

Our constant endeavour has been to make our policies more inclusive at CPIL. In line with this, our Leave Policy for employees gives special emphasis to give an equal opportunity for childcare to parents regardless of gender, sexual orientation or way of becoming a parent.

Parental Leave:

Primary Caregiver - will be entitled to leave upto 26 weeks

*Inclusive of adopting and commissioning mothers, same sex partners and single fathers. While a mother is considered as the primary caregiver by default, fathers can assume the role of a primary caregiver under certain specific conditions.

Secondary Caregiver - will be entitled to leave upto 4 weeks in 2 tranches

Workplace inclusivity for new & expectant parents. In consultation with the DE&I Council, CP India launched a policy for the well-being and inclusion of new parents :

Aim: To help employees who are in the process of, or have become new parents in meeting their responsibilities as caregivers (towards their kids and themselves) while managing work and contributing to CP’s success

Anti-Discrimination and Prevention of Harassment Policy

We have amended our POSH policy to make it gender neutral by going above and beyond the legal requirements. Current policy covers all the complaints of sexual harassment irrespective of the gender/ gender identity of the aggrieved person. This helps us in creating a work environment that enables all the employees to work without fear of prejudice, gender bias and sexual harassment.
