Maternity Leave Policy
Effective:
The Policy will be in force with effect from 1st Jan 2017. This policy and procedure replaces and
supersedes all prior policy and procedures on this subject matter.
Applicability:
The female employees of the organization.
Leave Benefit
Eligibility
▪ All female employees on confirmed employment who are not covered under the ESI Act,
1948 and have been with the company for a minimum period of one year are eligible for
Maternity Leave.
▪ The maximum period for which any employee be entitled to maternity benefits shall be
twenty-six weeks of which not more than six weeks shall precede the date of her delivery.
Extension of maternity leave, if desired, must be with due medical reasons and shall not be more
than one month from the date of expiry of the entitled maternity leave. Once approved this
extension of leave shall be Leave without Pay.
▪ If employee has paid leave credits to her account, the same can also be used for extension of
maternity leave, however, only after due application and approval from the management

environment as a very serious matter and such conduct is prohibited in the workplace by any person
and in any form. Company also believes that all employees of the Company have to be treated with

Flexi Option
Work from Home
• Work from Home (WFH) Option is available only to permanent employees on approval basis.
Employees currently falling under probation/Trainee/Intern period have no "Work from Home”
option.
• Work from Home (WFH) Option is only allowed to be taken when the situation at hand doesn't
allow you to come to work under extreme situations.
• A maximum of 2 days in a month for Bangalore across location-based Employees can be
permitted.
• It is not compulsory/mandatory that the permitted 2 days of WFH need to be used every month.
Employees, who are opting for Work from Home (WFH), are expected to send a mail to HR
after obtaining appropriate approvals from their supervisors/Reporting Managers/Management
to mark their attendance.
• Work from Home (WFH) is applicable only for Operations/Project/Free pool employees who
are working in BLUEROSE TECHNOLOGIES premises
