Women friendly policies
Maternity Leave Policy
The maximum period for maternity benefit shall be twenty-six weeks of which not more than eight weeks shall precede the date of her expected delivery. Maternity leave for employees with 2 or more children will be eligible for not more than 12 weeks of which not more than six weeks shall precede the date of the expected delivery.
Paternity Leave Policy
Confirmed employees are eligible for paternity leave. The dates for the paternity leave change, for any reason, the supervisor should be notified at the earliest.
Anti-Discrimination and Prevention of Harassment Policy
Merit must be aware of sexual harassment or related retaliation. Therefore, anyone who believes that she /he has experienced or witnessed sexual harassment or related retaliation should promptly report such behaviour to the Human Resources Manager or their Department-Head or to the POSH committee.
