As part of its digital transformation journey, Jio-bp is establishing an AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) to drive data-led decision-making, innovation, and operational excellence across business functions.Role OverviewThe Lead AI Product Manager will own one or more AI/GenAI products end-to-end—from discovery to scale—driving measurable business outcomes, adoption, and value realization. This is a hands-on role combining AI product management, business analysis, and project/program execution. You will run the squad and scrums, manage dependencies, and ensure production releases meet enterprise governance (Security/IRM), Responsible AI, and quality standards.Domain experience in Retail and Oil & Energy is a strong plus.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Portfolio Ownership Own product vision, roadmap, quarterly delivery plan, and outcome metrics (adoption, productivity, ROI). Translate business priorities into a clear backlog: epics/stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.Business Analysis & Discovery (Hands-on) Lead discovery with business SPOCs: workflow mapping, pain-point analysis, requirements gathering, and data readiness assessment. Define PRDs/BRDs (as needed), user journeys, success metrics, and measurable KPIs.Squad Leadership & Agile Delivery Run day-to-day execution: scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retros, and delivery cadence. Manage milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and escalations to closure; coordinate partner teams where applicable.Governance, Release Readiness & Quality Ensure releases meet enterprise standards: Dev→UAT→Prod gates, Security/IRM approvals, auditability, privacy-by-design, and Responsible AI controls. Drive UAT readiness, rollout/hypercare planning, documentation, and operational handover.Adoption & Value Realization Track adoption and product performance; drive change management, enablement, training, and continuous improvement backlog. Track GenAI usage and economics: usage telemetry, response quality, and token/cost metrics (where applicable).Must-Have Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus. 8–12 years in Product/Program roles with 5+ years owning AI/ML/GenAI products end-to-end. Strong grasp of the AI product lifecycle: data readiness, evaluation, monitoring/drift/quality, retraining strategy; GenAI/RAG fundamentals (embeddings, retrieval, prompt patterns, guardrails). Strong business analysis capability: requirements elicitation, logical structuring, and crisp acceptance criteria. Strong project/program execution: agile delivery, milestones, dependencies, RAID, stakeholder governance. Experience operating in enterprise governance environments: Security/IRM, audit requirements, privacy controls, Responsible AI. Strong communication and collaboration; ability to influence across business, engineering, and partners.
