The Role :We are in the midst of an exciting transformation, migrating our products from traditional on-premises data centers to a cloud-native, Kubernetes-based future. As a Dev Ops Engineer , you will play a key role in building automation to deploy and manage our production fleet across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will be responsible for building scalable, resilient, and secure frameworks that enabling our teams to deploy, operate, and manage applications seamlessly in a world-wide multi-cloud environment.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to Kubernetes and implement best practices. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys tackling challenges in hybrid cloud environments and wants to impact our cloud strategy significantly.Your Day to Day* Design, maintain, and optimize our core products’ production tooling, building robust management systems to increase the productivity of SRE and Engineering teams.* Integrate industry-standard CNCF projects into the Product Operations ecosystem.* Interact with Product Engineering and Operations teams to understand requirements and drive solutions.* Work in a dynamic environment and respond to interruptions promptly.* Provide L2 support for Infrastructure services running in production.* Provide mentoring to others within the team and the larger Ops org.What You Bring to the TeamRequired: 1.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.2.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.3.Proactive and Independent: A self-starter who can take ownership of projects, drive initiatives independently, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.4.Cloud Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience withAWS, GCP, orAzure, including significant experience withAzure AKSand Kubernetes-based migrations.5.Strong IAC and Automation Skills: Proficiency withTerraform, Helm, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automated infrastructure management and configuration.6.DevOps and CI/CD Experience: Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines usingGitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Argo CDfor efficient application deployment and updates during migration.7.Monitoring and Observability: Proven experience with observability tools such asPrometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetryfor comprehensive monitoring and logging. Good to have:1. Security Expertise: Knowledge of cloud security tools and practices, includingTrivyorSnyk.2. Experience with Multi-Cloud Abstraction: Knowledge of tools likeCrossplane, Rancher, or Cluster API for creating a unified abstraction layer over AWS, GKE, and AKS. Experience in building standardized interfaces for managing Kubernetes resources across multiple cloud providers is a plus.3. Kubernetes Mastery: In-depth understanding of Kubernetes, including Helm charts, Kubectl, CRDs, Ingress Controllers (e.g., NGINX), and Service Mesh (e.g.,Istio,Linkerd)
