Principal Accountability:
Major Purpose of the Job:
•	Preparation of Civil layouts, BOQ preparation, Costing, Budgeting and Scheduling of Civil proJects. Monitoring and execution of the projects as per Lhe schedule and pre-planned activity up to the mark responsibility including required quality checks & final finishing as per the Good engineering practice.


Principal Tasks and Responsibilities :-

1.	Execute all civil construction activity related to Project Work
•	Execution of Civil activities as like area modification, BOQ preparation and Indent preparation in SAP, follow up with Purchase for PO Etc.
•	Follow up with Vendor for completion of projects within time limit as per Good engineering practices.
•	Preparation and review of Drawings for better and economic Civil design. Also effort should be given for aesthetical layouts for projects.
•	Co-ordination with Purchase and finance for Indents, Purchase orders and payments of vendors.

2.	Rate Analysis:

•	Arrange Quotations from different vendors
•	Comparative Analysis and negotiation
•	Finalize the price considering budget, required quantity and delivery on time.
•	Preparation of Rate Analysis of Material Cost, Workmanship & Construction Work activity.
•	Rate analysis of Extra items.

3.	Checking & Certifying the vendor bills

•	To Check & Certify Measurements as per construction approved drawings.
•	Checking & Certification of BBS as per consultant approved Structure drawings.

4.	Quality Checklist at Site

•	Cube test as per IS Standard.
•	Slump Test.
 





•	Material Testing.
•	Compaction Tests of soil.
•	Reinforcement tenstle strength test.
•	Monitoring & Quality Checks of workmanship.

•	Contacts with vendor for new development
•	Newsletters, internet etc.
•	Visit to the vendor premises for latest update.
•	Visit to concern trade fare/seminar etc.
