At Conga, supporting women’s success and wellness is a big part of who we are. We foster diversity as a crucial aspect of our DEI strategy, promoting innovation, inclusivity, and equitable opportunities for all.
International Women’s Day is a key event for Conga and, this year, culture teams hosted an amazing celebration in each of our four India offices. With 80% of our global Product and Engineering team located in India—and 30% of those teams comprised of women—we’re proud to celebrate our diverse teams.
We showcased the Conga Way in action by volunteering with various NGOs based in India. Colleagues visited schools, gave motivational talks, played games, and passed out candy. We also celebrated by recognizing the contributions of women at Conga and in society. Over 300 colleagues participated, enjoying fun activities and hearing executives express their appreciation for the accomplishments of our female colleagues.
Our Conga Women in Tech CRG (Colleague Resource Group) continually empowers and supports our communities. Earlier this year, they hosted a speaking event at Stella Maris College in Chennai, discussing legal issues affecting women and focusing on their rights and protections. The event drew over 150 participants, demonstrating the impact of this and similar important efforts.
In the spirit of continuous learning, development, and growth, the Women in Tech group offers a mentorship program to provide a safe and supportive environment for women at Conga.
